Don't forget to take pictures! These activities provide opportunities for families to bond, have fun, and create lasting memories together without spending money. We use to have "family meals" every night. Even when one of my teens said they were "not hungry", they still had to come down and sit with us at dinner because we wanted their presence, and it is important for them to be there. Lots of times the smells and the look of the food made them change their minds about not being hungry. If they didn't want the food, we didn't make a big deal about it. But, they didn't get to replace the meal with snacks later, their dinner plate awaited them in the fridge. However, when you foster, you are responsible to provide food for the kids that they will eat. You need to be flexible with them.
